Watercolor Made Easy with Peggy Ellis
The Art League Academy is thrilled to announce an engaging and immersive watercolor workshop titled “Watercolor Made Easy,” led by the esteemed artist and instructor Peggy Ellis.
Workshop Overview
This workshop is designed to ignite participants’ creative passions, offering a comprehensive exploration into the art of watercolor. Suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced artists, the workshop provides a unique opportunity to experiment with this versatile medium. Participants will gain hands-on experience using watercolor templates and enjoy the process of creating a finished painting to take home.
Instructor Profile
Peggy Ellis, a distinguished artist based in Charleston, SC, will lead the sessions. Known for her vibrant paintings that capture the essence of the Lowcountry landscape, Ellis brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to her teaching. The daughter of Lowcountry artist Ray Ellis, her work is widely respected and collected nationwide, with representation by Reinert Fine Art in Charleston.
Registration and Materials
Participants are encouraged to register early, as class sizes are limited to ensure personalized instruction. Materials kits are available upon request, with an estimated cost between $100 and $130. To request a supply kit, please email Academy@ArtLeagueHHI.org at least 10 days before the workshop start date.
