16 year old violinist Caroline Smoak, will perform several classical works, with pianist Emily Ubanek. Caroline is a student of Dr. Carolyn Huebl, at Vanderbilt University (pre-college). Caroline was the 2016 and 2018 Peter Perret Competition winner, soloing with the Winston Salem Symphony twice. She recently won the Curb Competition and will solo with the Nashville Symphony. Caroline was selected as a finalist in the Hilton Head Symphony Youth Concerto Competition four times, medaling twice. The past four summers, Caroline has attended Perlman Music Program in Long Island, NY, studying with Itzhak Perlman and his staff. The event will be streamed.
