The Winter Night Sky

The heavens have fascinated people for centuries as they change with the seasons.  In this class you will explore the night sky with local Sky Ranger, Marie McClune.

You will learn how to identify the six constellations of the Winter Hexagon and a bit of mythology along the way.

Marie McClune is a geologist, environmental educator, and a former high school science teacher.  She is currently a Lowcountry Master Naturalist and Docent at the Coastal Discovery Museum.

 

One Session: 1:30-3:30 pm. February 7

The Cypress, Hilton Heas Plantation, 20 Lady Slipper Lane

(Use the back gate of Squire Pope Road.)

The charge for membership is $50.  this allows you to take as many classes as you wish.
