The Latest Developments in the Future of our Endangered Sea Turtles and The Hilton Head Island Sea Turtle Nesting Program

Loggerhead Sea Turtles nest on Hilton Head Island beaches from May to August and hatchlings scurry to the water from July to October.  You will want to join Amber Kuehn as she discusses the future of our endangered Sea turtles which she has monitored for over twenty years.  In this class she will bring us up to date on the results of the last nesting season and the outlook for this year and beyond.

Amber Kuehn is a Marine Biologist and currently manages the Sea Turtle Patrol on Hilton Head Island.

One Session: 10 am – 12 noon, Thursday, March 28

TidePointe (Second right off Point Comfort Road.)

 

The charge for membership is $50.  This allows you to take as many classes as you wish.  Reservations are required and may be made by calling 843-842-8250 or www.lifelonglearning.org
