The Art Market

The Coastal Discovery Museum, a Smithsonian Affiliate, will host its 25th annual Art Market, a juried fine art and craft show, on April 25-26 at Historic Honey Horn.
The outdoor event features more than 85 national and regional artists selected for their high-quality craftsmanship. Visitors can browse and purchase ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, wood, metal, paintings, drawings, photography, and sculpture.
In addition to artist booths, attendees can enjoy live music, food and beverage vendors, and relax at picnic tables and seating under the Mary Ann Peeples Pavilion. Participating vendors include The Loyal Cup, Sweets Obsessed, Local Pie, Gordon’s Hop Stop, Gloria’s Filipino Food, and other popular food trucks.
“The Art Market is one of our most anticipated events each year, with new artists to discover and returning favorites,” said Elizabeth Greenberg, Director of Exhibitions at the Coastal Discovery Museum. “When someone purchases a piece, they’re not only taking home original artwork, they’re directly supporting independent artists and helping sustain a vibrant artistic community in the Lowcountry and beyond.”
Tickets & Parking
Admission is $5 for adults; free for children 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased onsite or online here. Plenty of free parking is available just steps from the Art Market. Pets are not permitted, but service animals are welcome.
Proceeds from the Art Market support the museum’s year-round programs, exhibitions, and events that explore Lowcountry natural and cultural heritage.
