Stayin’ Awhile or Just Passin’ Thru? The Fun of Fall Migration

Fall migration is an exciting time for bird lovers because birds are on the move! Summer residents head south, winter residents start to arrive and settle in for several months, and other species stop by for a spell to rest and refresh.
To learn more about fall bird migration in the Lowcountry, stop by Wild Birds Unlimited of Hilton Head on August 25 at 4 p.m. for a free presentation by Master Naturalist Bob Speare. In a fun and interactive presentation, Bob will talk about what happens during fall migration, and what species you might see in the field and at your feeders.
