Oct 18: AsiahMae & Eric Johnson

AsiahMae, stylized A$iahMae, is a Black, southern, nonbinary poet, producer, and cultural worker propagated in the Southeast US. A$iahmae a Watering Hole Fellow and author of the chapbook oxygen (2016). They are currently serving as the Second Poet Laureate of Charleston, SC.

Oct 25: Brooke Barry & Barry Dickson

Brooke Barryis a writer and comedian who grew up on a farm in South Georgia. Brooke has performed in various venues and festivals in South Carolina and Georgia including the New South Comedy Festival in Greenville, the Comedy Cabana in Myrtle Beach, Old Trolley Theatre in Summerville, and twice at the Savannah Comedy Revue Battle, in which she won an Audience Choice Award.

Nov 1: Angelo Geter & Miho Kinnas

Angelo Geter is an award-winning poet, educator, author and performance artist and currently serves as the Poet Laureate of Rock Hill, SC. He is a 2020 Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellow. Known in the spoken word world as “EyeAmBic”, Geter is a 2018 National Poetry Slam champion, Rustbelt Regional Poetry Slam finalist, and Southern Fried Regional Poetry Slam finalist.  His debut collection More God Than Dead was releasedinJune 2022.
