“Painting the Lowcountry Landscape in Oils or Acrylics” with Carol Iglesias

June 12, 2025 @ 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
$150.00

3 HALF-DAYS
Wednesday to Friday (12:30 to 3:30pm)
June 11, 12, 13, 2025

Expand your skills with painting the beautiful lowcountry landscape! The class will start with a full painting demonstration. Carol will share her process for blocking in large simple shapes before layering colors. Learn how to capture the beauty that makes the lowcountry so special, focus on a strong composition, define values, establish a point of focus, and how to see and use color effectively in your paintings. You will also learn how to interpret your own photographs for reference and understand the relationships between value, color temperature and color intensity. There will be personalized teaching and individualized feedback throughout the day.
