“Landscapes & Seascapes in Pastel” with Robert Wortmann

Join instructor Robert Wortmann for this 4-week pastel course designed for those who want to learn about the pastel medium and conquer their fears of painting landscapes or seascapes. Painting landscapes and seascapes can be a very satisfying experience. Each class will begin with a demonstration. After with students will create their own work using their own photos or one supplied by the instructor. During that time each student will have individual attention from the instructor. The demonstrations will be done with pastel but students may use any  other media if they choose.

SKILL LEVEL:
This class is appropriate for all levels of students.

REFUND POLICY:
Ticket purchases to Art League of Hilton Head events are final. Refunds will not be given for missed or classes/workshops.

If a class or workshop is canceled by Art League of Hilton Head a full refund will be given.

SUPPLY LIST:

Students Who Wish To Use Supplies

For new pastelists who do not own supplies and would rather experiment with the medium before making the investment into purchasing your own, the instructor will provide you with the materials you need for this course for a $20.00 cash supply fee (due on day 1).

IN ADDITION TO $20 CASH PLEASE BRING:

Pastel Pencils: Stabilo CarbOthello or other brands

Hard Pastels: Prismacolor Nupastels or others

Softer Pastels: Sennelier, Unison, Terry Ludwig or others

Pastel paper smooth or sanded and a support for your paper

Nitrile gloves

Newsprint, glassine or clear bags to protect your work

Apron

Blue Painters tape
