“Keep the Broad Creek Clean” Water Festival

Join us on July 19th for the 6th annual “Keep the Broad Creek Clean” water festival, 4-8pm, at Shelter Cove Community Park. Admission is free and we welcome nature-lovers of all ages to attend! Over 20 environmentally-focused non-profits, organizations, and groups will provide “hands on” opportunities to learn about our local environment and the importance of keeping our waterways clean. Nature experts will include Sea Turtle Patrol and the “Turtle Ambulance” Lowcountry Master Naturalists and Port Royal Sound Foundation with salt marsh critters, several local artists with eco-art fun, and recycling information from i2 Recycle, just to name a few. We’re raffling off a brand new Wilderness Systems Pungo 120 kayak! Don’t miss out on all the fun.
