Award-Winning Vibraphonist CHRISTIAN TAMBURR will present A Tribute to the Musical Collaboration of Gary Burton & Chick Corea featuring pianist SCOTT GIDDENS
Gary Burton is one of the most celebrated vibraphonists in jazz history. In addition to a Grammy®-winning career as a soloist, sideman and leader of several influential groups, he and pianist Chick Corea have set the standard for jazz duos for nearly 40 years.
Christian Tamburr is an internationally renowned vibraphonist, pianist, composer and arranger with touring and performances in over 67 countries around the world. Downbeat Magazine recognized him with the “Outstanding Solo Jazz Performance” award and is a 5-Time “Critics Choice Top Rising Star” award recipient on vibraphone. Christian has worked as Musical Director and Pianist for Latin vocal legend Julio Iglesias, Cirque du Soleil in Macau China, Landau Eugene Murphy and Penn & Teller. He has performed on vibraphone as special guest with pianist Dave Brubeck and as featured solo percussionist with Michael Feinstein.
