Island Celebration Lanterns: Family Fun Workshop

During this 2-hour workshop you will have an opportunity to create one-of-a kind paper lanterns that celebrate life on Hilton Head Island. From pirates and mermaids to crabs and critters of the Lowcountry, participants will get creative as they craft their very own illuminated lantern sculpture to participate in the Hilton Head Island Lantern Parade on Saturday, November 9. Line up for the parade begins at 6:00 pm on South Forest Beach at the Alder Lane Beach Access. Step off is at 7:00 pm. The parade is a free event and an opportunity for our community and visitors to celebrate the history, ecology and people of Hilton Head Island.
