“Intro to Resin: Mixed Media Holiday Ornaments” with Ryan McGivern
Discover the art of resin casting in this hands-on introductory workshop. Learn the fundamentals of resin pouring while exploring colorants, mixed media, and a variety of ornament shapes. Guided step-by-step, participants will design and craft up to five unique mixed media holiday ornaments—perfect to decorate, share, or gift. This creative experience blends artistry and technique, offering a fun and inspiring way to transform simple materials into stunning, one-of-a-kind holiday keepsakes.
Resin casts will take several days to dry. Pieces will be available to pick-up the following Tuesday (December 16, 2025 from 10am to 2pm). Out of town students that need to have finished pieces shipped to them (at your expense) can make arrangements with the Academy Manager by emailing Academy@ArtLeagueHHI.org
NOTE:
All materials are included with the price of this class. Students should just bring themselves!
SKILL LEVEL:
This class was designed for beginner level students, intermediate level students, and advanced level students. All levels of students will get something out of this workshop.
A MESSAGE TO OUT OF TOWNERS:
Completed & Cured pendants will be ready for pickup on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Mailing of finished pieces can be arranged with the Academy Manager. Please email Academy@ArtLeagueHHI.org to make arrangements.
REFUND POLICY:
Ticket purchases to Art League of Hilton Head events are final. Credits or Refunds will not be given for missed or classes/workshops.
If a class or workshop is canceled by Art League of Hilton Head a full refund will be given.
