CREATE COLLAGES WITH
JAPANEESE WASHI TAPE
with Instructor
Joan Moreau McKeever
Washi Tape is a not-very-sticky masking tape made from rice paper. It comes in rolls of solid colors, as well as patterns, and provides adherence to a variety of surfaces.
This course is taught by local artist Joan Moreau McKeever, who is here to teach YOU how to create your very own realistic or abstract collages using washi tape!
Students will learn the technique of creating with this new art form. Landscapes, Flowers, People, Abstracts…. NO LIMIT! Washi Tape is primarily used for crafting, but in this workshop, we are going to take it to a whole new level! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
There is a $25 materials fee due to the instructors in cash on the first day of this workshop for most materials, which will be provided for you.
