Follow the journey of the women who came first to Hilton Head Island. Their journeys tell about their strong commitments to this island and how they made life here stronger and better. The role of women has changed throughout history because of their commitment and dedication. This program begins with life before the Plantation Era and ends with the timber days of the early 1900s.
