Camellias are fascinating plants with a rich history that has been cultivated for their beauty in many Lowcountry gardens. Join us at the Coastal Discovery Museum to learn how to grow and care for these charming plants. Tour the Camellia Garden and view over 130 varieties of magnificent Camellias. Pick your favorite Camellia and grown your own Camellia from a cutting (some Camellia species may not be available). You will be guided through the process of potting your cutting and learn how to continue to care for your Camellia so you can enjoy it for years to come.
Ages 7 and older please. Cost is $20 per person and reservations are required by calling 843-689-6767 ext. 223.
