Family Fun Day

Each year the Coastal Discovery Museum celebrates the end of summer and start of the school year with a FREE Family Fun Day. It’s our way of giving back to the community and a must for families of all ages! Explore Honey Horn and learn about the Lowcountry from Museum volunteers and lots of our community partners. We will have activities and information tables all across our property so you can walk around and enjoy all we have to offer – pull a crab trap, try indigo dyeing, search for caterpillars, a children’s book fair, get creative in the gallery, learn some Gullah words, sing a few fun songs, and much more!
