Drawing 102: “Observation, Composition & Perspective” is designed for those who want to improve their drawing skills. Basic elements of design will be discussed, and a variety of drawing techniques will be introduced.
The class will focus on Observation and drawing what you see instead of drawing what you know. Elements of Composition will be introduced in context of creating visually compelling drawings. Varieties of Perspective will be discussed such as Linear and Atmospheric.
This class will expand upon drawing basics, including structure and value.
Students will be encouraged to look at their environment in a new and imaginative way. Participants are encouraged to explore their own environment and incorporate it into their artwork.
