Discovery Night at the Museum – Propagate and Grow a Camellia

Camellias are fascinating plants with a rich history that has been cultivated for their beauty in many Lowcountry gardens. Join the Museum’s Manager of Horticulutre to learn how to propagate and care for these charming plants. Tour the Camellia Garden and view over 130 varieties of magnificent Camellias. Pick your favorite Camellia and grow your own Cameillia from a cutting (some Camellia species may not be available). You will be guided through the process of potting your cutting and learn how to continue to care for your Camellia so you can enjoy it for years to come. Cost $25 per person. No children under 7 please.
