A bold, cutting edge contemporary ballet company – founded in 2016 by former Miami City Ballet Principal Dancers Jennifer Kronenberg and Carlos Guerra. DDTM has established itself with a dazzling repertoire and dynamic world class dancers hailing from various Hispanic, North and South American backgrounds. The troupe’s profound energy and electricity truly reflect the unique cultural vibrancy and allure of their home city, Miami.
Since its inception, the company has garnered national recognition for a profound energy, athleticism, and electricity, and will offer our Arts Center audience a vibrant and innovative ballet experience.
In addition to an ongoing residency and partnership with South Miami-Dade Cultural Arts Center, DDTM is an inaugural member of South Arts’ Momentum program. The company has also graced the stages of both The Joyce Theater and Jacob’s Pillow Inside/Out Summer Dance Festival. Dimensions has recently furthered its mission to make world-class dance accessible to all, by participating in The Kennedy Center’s “Arts Across America” live digital series, and by developing the DDTM @ Home gallery and digital platform.
As part of the Arts Center’s education and outreach, we will be offering youth programming of DDTM including onsite residencies, an onstage field trip for schools with artist talk-back, and a dance master class.
