Crescendo Kick-Off Celebration

Honoring National Arts and Humanities Month, Crescendo offers a vibrant showcase of Hilton Head Island’s diverse arts, culture, and history. It spotlights the talents of local arts and culture organizations, individual artists, performers, and authors.

The Crescendo Celebration features an impressive lineup of over 100 unique arts and cultural programs. These include concerts by award-winning visiting musical performers, mesmerizing and inspiring theatrical productions, unique museum and gallery exhibitions, behind-the-scenes artist studio tours, enlightening lectures, film screenings, inspiring poetry readings, captivating dance performances, historical tours, hands-on arts experiences, educational offerings, and cultural festivals.

Tuesday, Oct. 14 (4:30-7:30 p.m.): The annual Crescendo kick-off celebration at Shelter Cove Community Park will feature live music, performances, and exhibitions by local artists and cultural organizations.

Dozens of local arts vendors, organizations, and not for profits on site.

Scheduled performances by From Away (Arts Center of Coastal Carolina), Mary Poppins (Hilton Head Prep), Hilton Head Dance Theater, and more!

This year, we are excited to present Nashville songwriter and performing artist Phoenix Mendoza as our headliner.
