Classical Music Concert – Stamps String Quartet

The Stamps String Quartet is comprised of four outstanding musicians who are enrolled at the University Of Miami Frost School of Music; Soohyun Chae, violin, Lydia Newton, violin Wynne Owre, viola, and Ruth Stokes, cello.  They were selected, through a national search for talented young artists. Each instrumentalist won a competitive audition and met the academic requirements of the University. They were offered full four-year fellowships, including tuition, room and board, provided by the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation.

Quartet members major in individual instrumental performance, while enrolled in a professional development program as an ensemble, an educational experience generally unavailable to undergraduates.

The Stamps String Quartet will perform a program of classical chamber music.
