The Artists of Sea Pines announces the opening of its newest show of artwork on February 23 at the Sea Pines Community Center, 71 Lighthouse Road, Suite 120.
In the spirit of its theme, “Working Together”, the Sea Pines artist group invited the Artists of Hilton Head Plantation to join them in the show. Works by over 20 artists in oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor and photography will be on display until April 28. Ten percent of the proceeds of any art sale is donated to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve.
An opening night reception with refreshments for family and friends will be held Thursday, February 23, 5-7pm. Members of the public are invited.
The Sea Pines Community Center (CSA) is located at 71 Lighthouse Road, Suite 120, next to the Fitness Center.
Founded in 2012, the Artists of Sea Pines is a group of local artists who reside in Sea Pines. The organization is dedicated to the advancement of members’ work, supporting the creativity of its members by hosting receptions and exhibitions throughout the year.
Inspired by the beauty of Hilton Head Island and the Lowcountry, the Artists of Sea Pines proudly donate 10% of their sales to the Sea Pines Forest Preserve Foundation to support conservation efforts to keep this natural wonder pristine and intact.
The Artists’ gallery is located at the Shops at Sea Pines Center in the CSA Community Center and is currently open on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and during the First Thursdays Art Market each month.
