** Students will not produce a painting or drawing in this workshop BUT will go home with one or more wonderfully composed plans for new artwork ready for production. **

SUPPLIES LIST: Download a printable supply list Students Should Bring the Following Materials DRAWING PAD (Minimum 16″ x 20″ or 18″ x 24″) Can be a newsprint pad 15″, 18″ or 24″ straight edge ruler Drawing Compass: (to draw a circle or arc – one that will open as wide as possible) 8″, 10″ or 12″ plastic 90 degree angle triangle or L shaped Ruler Ultra-fine point Sharpie permanent marker pen Black andRed The instructor will have some on hand in case you can’t find one 1 or 2 Drawing Pencils (one that will hold a good sharp point – #H/HB/OR f) Tracing Paper (Pad – 11″ x 14″ or 17″ x 14″ or 24″ wide roll) The instructor will have some on hand in case student can’t find it. A white plastic Mars type Eraser BRING YOUR OWN PHOTOS (No smaller than 5″x7″ or larger than 8.5″x11″. YOUR OWN PHOTOS! NOT from another source! Instructor will provide free of charge for student use: Acetate Sheets (8.5″ x 11″) Blue Painters Tape Cropping Angles 3″ x 5″ and 5″ x 8″ cards Viva Paper Towels Alcohol OPTIONAL: A Proportion Wheel (a Proportional Scale by C-Thru Ruler Co. is great to have and can usually be purchased at Hobby Lobby, Michaels, Staples or online.)
