DESCRIPTION:The world was shaped by the genesis of Ideas. \nJoin us for TEDxHiltonHead 2022\, an evening of thoughtful\, provocative\, and entertaining Talks and Performance focused on “Ideas Worth Spreading” and “Arts Worth Exploring.” \nSpeakers to be announced June 15. \nREDUCED TICKET PRICES to accommodate the budgets of all Islanders. EARLY BIRD TICKETS available July 1. \nAbout TEDxHiltonHead \nIn the fall of 2015 a few local organizers came together to brainstorm the idea of establishing a vibrant and sustainable TEDx program on Hilton Head Island. On October 23\, 2016\, we were to hold our first event…and Hurricane Matthew disrupted the plans of everyone on our beloved Island. \nWith a theme of “Resilience” our 2017 inaugural and sold-out event provided the impetus for an annual array of TEDxHiltonHead-sponsored events. \nTEDxHiltonHead is 501(c)(3) non-profit under the auspices of the Community Foundation of the Lowcountry to provide the opportunity for tax-deductible contributions and a sustainable financial infrastructure via the TEDx of the Lowcountry Fund. \nClick here to learn more about becoming a partner. \nOur Mission and Purpose \nThe mission of TEDx is to bring “ideas worth sharing” to the Lowcountry to inspire intellectual curiosity\, continuous learning\, and promote community cohesiveness. \nTEDx is a local organization that brings together a welcoming community of people and ideas from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the Lowcountry and the world.
