SUMMARY:Open Painting in The Medium of Your Choice with Dennis Lake
DESCRIPTION:Mondays (9am – 12pm)\nNovember 10\, 17\, 24\, 2025\n-OR- Drop in for $50 per week\, no registration required! \n\nPaint with the medium of your choice\, (Oil\, WC\, Acrylic\, Pastel\, Charcoal\, Colored Pencil)\, in a relaxed atmosphere with as much instructor help as you want. \nBring in new or unfinished work you want to do. \nShort demos\, techniques\, and critiques will be available to assist you. \nRealism\, impressionism\, or something more modern is all welcome. \n\n\nSKILL LEVEL:\nThis class is appropriate for beginner painters\, intermediate painters and advanced painters of any medium. The main purpose of this course is one-on-one assistance from the instructor with whatever you need help with (fixing\, composition\, specific subjects\, etc.). \n REFUND POLICY:\nTicket purchases to Art League of Hilton Head events are final. SUMMARY:Holiday Mosaics: Trees\, Ornaments & More" with Ryan McGivern
DESCRIPTION:Join local mosaics artist Ryan McGivern for this exciting workshop PERFECT for students of ANY level! \nStudents will make their very own Holiday Mosaic piece\, choosing from a tree\, a set of ornaments\, or another holiday themed base and using glass and found objects. Ryan will show students how to design & execute the creation of their own personal piece! \nThe instructor will grout the works and have them ready for pick up the following week on Friday\, December 5\, 2025 (10am to 2pm). Out of town students that need to have finished pieces shipped to them (at your expense) can make arrangements with the Academy Manager by emailing Academy@ArtLeagueHHI.org. \nNOTE:\nAll of the materials you end for this workshop are included in the price. Just bring yourself. We recommend wearing pants\, long sleeves and close toed shoes to this class for safety reasons. \n\n\nA MESSAGE TO OUT OF TOWNERS:\nCompleted pieces will be ready the following week\, by Friday\, December 5\, 2025. Mailing of finished pieces can be arranged with the Academy Manager.
