DESCRIPTION:Mondays (9am – 12pm)\nNovember 10\, 17\, 24\, 2025\n-OR- Drop in for $50 per week\, no registration required! \n\nPaint with the medium of your choice\, (Oil\, WC\, Acrylic\, Pastel\, Charcoal\, Colored Pencil)\, in a relaxed atmosphere with as much instructor help as you want. \nBring in new or unfinished work you want to do. \nShort demos\, techniques\, and critiques will be available to assist you. \nRealism\, impressionism\, or something more modern is all welcome. \n\n\nSKILL LEVEL:\nThis class is appropriate for beginner painters\, intermediate painters and advanced painters of any medium. The main purpose of this course is one-on-one assistance from the instructor with whatever you need help with (fixing\, composition\, specific subjects\, etc.). \n REFUND POLICY:\nTicket purchases to Art League of Hilton Head events are final. Participants will explore methods used by the ancient masters to design and compose enduring works of art. The curriculum offers a simplified approach to creating strong\, well-balanced\, and beautifully composed artwork\, providing artists with tools to elevate their creative output. \nThe workshop is open to all skill levels\, from beginners to advanced artists. Instruction will emphasize the importance of composition in achieving dynamic and award-winning artwork. Students will leave with one or more composed plans for new artwork\, ready for production. No paintings or drawings will be completed during the workshop itself. \nWith over 40 years of experience\, Robert H. Way has exhibited in Boston\, New York City\, and throughout the United States and Europe. Influenced by mentors such as Tom Blackwell and Maxfield Parrish\, his work is represented in public and private collections worldwide.
