DESCRIPTION:Treat your visitors\, family and friends to an authentic tie-dye experience and learn about the history of the indigo plant and its significance in South Carolina’s past. Tuesdays\, between 10 am – noon\, during June\, July & August. Adjacent to the Hilton Head Island Farmers Market.  Includes one T-shirt and participants are free to bring one additional small cotton item to dye. Reservations are not required but are encouraged. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Young artists will shape\, sculpt\, and glaze their way through a week of hands-on fun—learning clay techniques like pinch\, slab\, and coil to create everything from tiny creatures to colorful pots. Let the pottery adventures begin! \nGet “fired up” for a hands-on adventure in the world of clay at our Kids N Clay Camp! This fun and creative camp is perfect for young artists who want to dive into the exciting world of sculpting and pottery. Students will learn a variety of ceramic hand building techniques: including pinch\, slab\, coil\, surface decoration\, glazing\, and more! Whether it’s making tiny creatures\, colorful pots\, or imaginative sculptures\, kids will learn the basics of clay work while exploring their artistic potential. \nAdditional information\n\nRegistration Requirements\nPre-registration is required for all classes\, workshops\, and camps. In order to secure your spot\, an online registration must be made. Refunds will be mailed within 2 weeks of cancellation. \n\n\nSafety Protocols\nOur goal is to protect patrons\, visitors\, employees\, staff\, artists\, and volunteers\, as well as to mitigate the potential for the spread of illness in our community. We continue to practice enhanced cleaning procedures and students who are exhibiting any signs of illness will be asked not to attend. \nHalf-day campers should bring a water bottle and snack. Visual art campers should wear old clothing and/or bring a smock to protect their clothes. Theatre campers should bring a lunch.
