SUMMARY:Mud Pies and Beyond Camp
DESCRIPTION:Clay camps offer various clay techniques to spark children’s creativity. This week students will create fun pieces such as Family Jugs\, Mud Pie slices\, and Hanging Planters\, with a new project every day. On Fridays\, they will glaze their work\, which will then be dried and fired first in a bisque and then in a glaze firing. Projects will be ready for pickup in about four weeks. \n\n\n\n\nStarts: week of June 23rd or\nJuly 14th or 28th\, 2025 \nWho: grades 1st – 4th\,\nMornings 9:00 – 11:30 am\ngrades 4th – 8th\nAfternoons 2:00 – 4:30 pm \nCost: $150/session\,\nincluding all materials \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLimited to 12 participants

DESCRIPTION:3-WEEKS\nThursdays (1 to 4pm)\nJune 12\, 19\, 26\, 2025 \nJoin instructor Robert Wortmann for this 3-week pastel course designed for those who want to learn about the pastel medium and conquer their fears of painting beautiful landscapes\, seascapes or sunsets. Painting these subjects can be a very satisfying experience. Each class will begin with a demonstration. After with students will create their own work using their own photos or one supplied by the instructor. During that time each student will have individual attention from the instructor. The demonstrations will be done with pastel\, but students may use any other media if they choose. \n\n\nSKILL LEVEL:\nThis class is appropriate for all levels of students.\n\nREFUND POLICY:\nTicket purchases to Art League of Hilton Head events are final.
