SUMMARY:BLACK & WHITE LANDSCAPE DRAWING with Guest Instructor Robert H. Way
DESCRIPTION:Students in this workshop will be familiarized with the fundamental principles of drawing\, enhancing their ability to see the basic shapes\, forms\, and values that make up the landscape. Participants will learn to “read” a photograph to accurately discern its weaknesses and to discover its hidden artistic gems.  By integrating nature’s inherent proportions into the artistic process\, students will receive the rudimentary essentials of composing a masterful landscape drawing. With only a few basic tools used by master artists for centuries\, each student will be instructed to properly design\, construct\, draw\, and render a realistic\, even a photographic\, image of their chosen landscape on paper. \nSKILL LEVEL:\nThis workshop was designed for beginner students\, intermediate students and advanced students. \nNOTE:\nAll sales are final\, No Exceptions. SUMMARY:Critter Creations Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:Clay camps offer various clay techniques to spark children’s creativity. Students will create unique projects such as fish tail hooks\, critter bowls\, and birdhouses\, with a new project every day. On Fridays\, they will glaze their work\, which will then be dried and fired first in a bisque and then in a glaze firing. Projects will be ready for pickup in about four weeks. \n\n\n\n\nStarts: week of June 16th or\nJuly 21st\, 2025 \nWho: grades 1st – 4th\,\nMornings 9:00 – 11:30 am\ngrades 4th – 8th\nAfternoons 2:00 – 4:30 pm \nCost: $150/session\,\nincluding all materials \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLimited to 12 participants

DESCRIPTION:From painting and drawing to sculpture and mixed media\, young artists will dive into exciting daily projects\, guided lessons\, and creative exploration. It all leads up to a vibrant Friday showcase of their one-of-a-kind masterpieces! \nIn this camp color theory\, creativity and imagination come to life! Students will enjoy a fun and inspiring environment where they can explore different art forms\, including painting\, drawing\, sculpture\, and mixed media. Each day features exciting projects\, guided instruction\, and plenty of time for personal expression. Throughout the camp\, kids will develop their artistic skills\, learn new techniques\, and express themselves in unique ways\, then showcase their creations on Friday! \nAges 7-12 \nAdditional information\n\nRegistration Requirements\nPre-registration is required for all classes\, workshops\, and camps.
