DESCRIPTION:Treat yourself to a fun 1-day project. We have a perfect opportunity for you to experience hand-building while we make spectacular pieces…your very own pair of mugs. Our one-day class will include an introduction to rolling slabs\, texturing\, sculpting\, & constructing your creation. Your mug can take on its own unique shape…handles looking like mushrooms\, tree frogs\, snakes\, or abstract curly-cues. Your masterpiece will be fired and ready to pick up a few weeks after class. \nOur teaching method is hands-on\, and class sizes are intentionally small so we can provide individualized attention as needed. This class is fun and low-key…we want you to learn what it takes to create a pottery piece\, but it’s just as important to have a good experience. \n  \nThis Class is limited to 10 participants

DESCRIPTION:WHEN:\n4-WEEKS\nMondays (1 to 4pm)\nMarch 24\, 31\, April 7\, 14\, 2025 \nJoin instructor Robert Wortmann for this 4-week pastel course designed for those who want to learn about the pastel medium and conquer their fears of painting landscapes or seascapes. Painting landscapes and seascapes can be a very satisfying experience. Each class will begin with a demonstration. After with students will create their own work using their own photos or one supplied by the instructor. During that time each student will have individual attention from the instructor. The demonstrations will be done with pastel but students may use any  other media if they choose. \nSKILL LEVEL:\nThis class is appropriate for all levels of students.\n\nREFUND POLICY:\nTicket purchases to Art League of Hilton Head events are final.
