Abstract painting is experimenting with paint and techniques which is vital to the creative process\, so enjoying the act of painting is just as important as the outcome. \nStudents will experiment and create several pieces throughout the workshop using acrylic paints and mediums on paper and canvas. What’s important is\, not to go home with a masterpiece but to learn to let your natural instincts take over with no fear of making a mistake. After all it’s only paint so you can always change it if you don’t like it! Painting landscapes and seascapes can be a very satisfying experience. Each class will begin with a demonstration. After with students will create their own work using their own photos or one supplied by the instructor. During that time each student will have individual attention from the instructor.
