DESCRIPTION:After School Pottery \n  \nWho: Ages 8 and older \nWhen: Wed. – 4:00 – 5:30 pm \nStarts: Sept. 11\, 2024 \n(meeting weekly through the school year) \nHow Long: 2 hr. classes weekly \nCost: $145 / 6 week session \n(includes all materials: clay\, glazes & firings) \n\n\n\nOur pottery class is a fun way for kids to get creative with 3-D art. In our weekly after-school sessions\, kids will learn all about pottery\, from building and sculpting with clay to trying out wheel-throwing and glazing techniques. It’s not just about art – this activity also helps kids improve their sensory and motor skills by getting their bodies and minds working together.  Pottery classes provide a fun and engaging environment for children to learn patience\, perseverance\, and problem-solving skills while fostering a love for art and craftsmanship.
