A Berklee College of Music graduate and recipient of the prestigious Buddy Rich Jazz Masters Award\, Calhoun has been celebrated as Best New Drummer and #1 Progressive Drummer (three times) by Modern Drummer readers\, and Best Drummer by Rolling Stone critics. \nWith Living Colour\, he powered the multi-platinum debut “Vivid”\, the groundbreaking “Time’s Up” (featuring his acclaimed composition “Pride”)\, “Stain”\, “Biscuits”\, “CollideØscope”\, “The Chair in the Doorway”\, and “Shade”\, earning two Grammy Awards for Best Hard Rock Performance and an International Rock Award for Best Rock Band. \nA visionary across genres\, Calhoun has performed and recorded with legends including B.B.
