SUMMARY:The Larry Fuller Trio - World Renowned Jazz Pianist - Composer
DESCRIPTION:Show Ticket $20 – $30 \nDinner is required with all reservations. \n*6:30 PM SHOW – DINNER RESERVATIONS FROM 5:15 PM –  Sold out on Nov. 21st \n*9:00 PM SHOW – DINNER RESERVATIONS FROM 8:00 PM \nFuller’s powerhouse trio delivers hard-swinging\, lyrical\, and electrifying performances that DownBeat’s Mark Sheldon praised as: “For anyone steeped in jazz\, it just can’t get much better.” \nFrom bop\, to stride\, to swing\, to blues\, Fuller’s live performances are not to be missed! \nAt The Jazz Corner\, expect to hear anything from Oscar Peterson to Ray Brown\, Wes Montgomery to Stevie Wonder\, George Gershwin to Joni Mitchell – and much more. \n“In his amazing gossamer piano solos\, he sprinkles stardust on whatever song he plays; you hold your breath in wonder.” ~ The New York Times \nSince touring with Ray Brown in early 2000s\, pianist Larry Fuller has built a reputation as one of the hardest-swinging pianists on the scene. Fuller learned his craft the ‘old school’ way – on the bandstand in some of the most legendary jazz ensembles: The Ray Brown Trio\, Jeff Hamilton Trio\, John Pizzarelli Quartet\, and as pianist/musical director for vocal giant Ernestine Anderson. \nThe NYC-based Larry Fuller Trio is known for its super-swinging\, emotive style\, and program versatility. In his programming\, Fuller includes the Great American Songbook\, jazz\, blues\, pop standards\, and originals\, always bringing his own take on the music. \nCompleting The Larry Fuller Trio is Lorin Cohen on bass (Monty Alexander Trio) and Carmen Intorre\, Jr. on drums (Joey DeFrancesco).
