DESCRIPTION:Join us for one of Hilton Head Island’s favorite annual events — the Oyster Festival\, happening November 7–8\, 2025. A tradition for over 30 years\, this family-friendly festival celebrates the Lowcountry’s rich seafood culture with local oysters\, shrimp\, and more\, alongside live music and great coastal vibes. \nThe weekend kicks off Friday night at Shelter Cove Community Park from 5–8 PM with an all-you-can-eat feast featuring steamed local oysters\, lowcountry boil\, pulled pork\, shrimp and grits\, and chili. Enjoy live music from Rock Candy while sipping beverages available for purchase. General admission is $60\, and children 12 and under are $45. A limited number of VIP tables are available for $750\, which includes seating for 10 guests and a bucket of oyster roast essentials. \nSaturday’s festivities continue from 11 AM–5 PM at Lowcountry Celebration Park\, located near Coligny Circle. Admission is $7.50 in advance or $10 at the gate\, with free entry for children under 11\, veterans\, active military\, police\, and firefighters with ID. Guests can enjoy live music (bands to be announced)\, shop local artisan vendors\, and take part in fun activities for all ages. Food and drinks are available for purchase. \nAfter the festival\, head over to The Bank at 59 Pope Avenue for the official Oyster Festival Afterparty\, just an 8-minute walk from the park. \nPlease note: this is a rain or shine event\, and no refunds will be given. DESCRIPTION:This annual event begins at sunset along the beach and travels from Alder Lane to Lowcountry Celebration Park. All are welcome to participate. \nTo see all the most up to date information about the 2025 Lantern Parade – visit here. \nThe Hilton Head Island Lantern Parade returns on Saturday\, November 22nd! \nClick here for a map of this year’s route and parking information.\nParade’s starting point: Alder Lane beach access (behind the Marriott Grande Ocean resort) \nParade exits the beach at the BEACH HOUSE and proceeds to Lowcountry Celebration Park. \nAll parade participants must be lined up by 5:15 PM. Line up begins at 4:30. \nPlease follow the direction of the parade marshals before and during the parade. There is NO PASSING permitted once the parade steps off – this is for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.
