DESCRIPTION:FEBRUARY IS GULLAH CELEBRATION MONTH\n\n\n\n2025 marks the 29-year history of partnership between the Arts Center and the Gullah community. Voices of Gullah will be held at the Arts Center\, in the theater\, for a celebration of this beautiful culture with an emphasis on the lyrical language of Gullah through song and storytelling. In addition to entertainment\, we will showcase arts\, hands-on crafts\, and delicious food\, all with an exciting Gullah flair. \nInside the Walter Greer Gallery\, browse the Art League of Hilton Head’s annual exhibit and sale of De Aarts Ob We People\, one of the largest displays of original work by emerging and acclaimed artists representing the life of Gullah people our area. \nChair: Lola Campbell \nAll ages are welcome to join the free and uniquely-Lowcountry festivities. \n‍In partnership with NIBCAA & the Gullah Celebration. \nThis project is funded in part by the South Carolina Arts Commission\, which receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts. ‍‍
