DESCRIPTION:MARCH 4\, 2025\n3:30PM – 6:30PM\n\n\n\nFor Ages:\nAll Ages\n\n\nDuration\n3 hrs (pop in)\n\n\n\n\nFREE TINY ART WORKSHOP\n\nIn celebration of Youth Art Month (YAM)\, The Arts Center of Coastal Carolina invites families to join us for a YAM JAM at our FREE Tiny Art Family Fun Workshop! The Tiny Art Galleries are located at the Arts Center and at several other locations across the island\, where “gallery visitors” can take a piece of tiny art\, or leave a piece for others to enjoy! \n\n\n\nADDITIONAL INFORMATION\n\nAll supplies will be provided\, and local award-winning artist Debi West will be on hand to help you tap into your tiny art-making talents! You can take your tiny artwork home with you or leave it to stock the gallery. \n\n\n  \nFunded in part by grants from Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation and South Arts.

DESCRIPTION:Event Date: May 13-June 13\, 2025\nEntry Deadline: March 31\, 2025\nNotification Deadline: April 12\, 2025\nEntry Fee: $35\nAdditional Image Fee: $10\nArt League of Hilton Head invites you to enter the 2025 Biennale\, its 29th National Juried Exhibition\, held every other year and featuring multiple media types\, including Oil\, Acrylic\, Pastel\, Watercolor\, Photography\, Mixed Media\, and Three-Dimensional. Over $5\,000 in cash prizes will be awarded. All accepted works of art selected by three jurors will be displayed at Art League Gallery inside the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina on Hilton Head Island\, South Carolina. The prestigious juror\, Tony Armendariz\, will choose the prize winners. This state-of-the-art gallery provides the finest exhibit space with high tourist and community visibility. \nThe 29th Biennale Judge is Tony Armendariz. Tony is an award-winning American artist living and painting in Palatine\, Illinois. Born and raised in Chicago to a graphic arts family\, he learned to create with textiles\, photography\, drawing\, and painting. Graduating from the American Academy of Art in Chicago\, he studied under renowned watercolor instructor Irving Shapiro. While still attending the Academy\, he began his employment in the corporate world for over 20 years as a graphic artist\, illustrator\, and web designer. \nTony’s work has been published in Fine Art Connoisseur\, American Art Collector\, and Watercolor Artist magazines. Venues where he has exhibited include The Butler Institute of American Art\, RJD Gallery\, The Salmagundi Club\, and the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art. \nSome of Tony’s awards include the Frank Webb Award of Merit at the 2024 Transparent Watercolor Society of America 48th Annual International Exhibition\, the Mary Bryan Memorial Award and Medal at the 2023 and 2024 Allied Artists of America 110th and 111th Annual Juried Exhibitions\, Best of Show/Purchase/People’s Choice Awards at the 2021 VMRC 18th National Juried Art Exhibition\, and First Place Award at the 2019 40th International Juried Exhibition of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society. \nTony is a signature member of many national artistic societies\, including the American Watercolor Society\, the Allied Artists of America\, and the Illinois Watercolor Society\, where he also served as director. Hilliard Gallery in Kansas City\, Missouri\, represents him.
