SUMMARY:Hilton Head Archaeology presents Dr. Christopher Moore and The Mysterious Carolina Bays
DESCRIPTION:“When the Wright Brothers gave us the airplane\, they didn’t just give us a new way to get around. They gave us a view of the 10\,000 to 500\,000 elliptical-shaped depressions that were oriented exactly the same way\, northwesterly.  Hear Dr. Moore’s theory of what created these mysterious wetlands which the Algonquins called pocosins.” \nSaturday\, May 11. 2024 1:00 – 2:00 pm \n
