In celebration of National Freedom Day
Saturday, February 5, 2022
10am – 1pm
Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park in partnership with the 26th Annual Hilton Head Island Gullah Celebration will host a Freedom Walk. Come learn about the historical connection of Ft. Howell and Mitchelville through the stories passed down from generation to generation.
Plus, COVID Vaccines and Health/Wellness Screenings will be provided by Volunteers in Medicine, Memory Matters, Hilton Head Hospital, Hilton Head Regional Healthcare, Senior Center, Hilton Head Fire, Life and Safety.
Featured speakers and entertainment by Rev. Dr. Robin Dease of St. Andrews By the Sea and John Newman, MD of Volunteers in Medicine.
