The Arkhaios Cultural Heritage and Archaeology Film Festival is an annual juried competition, part of the annual South Carolina Archaeology Month.
The 8th annual Arkhaios Cultural Heritage and Archaeology Film Festival will be offering the 2020 festival lineup through a secure online platform from October 5 to October 11, and the Jury will announce the Arkhaios Film Festival awards winners, on Saturday October 10.
Filmmakers from all over the world have registered their films, including Argentina, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Cyprus, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Iran, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Polynesia, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Turkey, and the USA, all of which covers an incredible range of fascinating topics !
The multi-day Arkhaios Cultural Heritage and Archaeology It is free, open to the public, and is an educational event showcasing the discovery of past cultures often gained from archaeological research and illustrated through documentary films.
